I took some time today to create a tool that allows you to edit the screen resolutions and key mappings in this game. It's really simple to use. If you're using the Steam version of the game, just run the tool and it'll find it. Then click on the values to edit them, and save.GitHub:Download:Screenshot:So with this tool, you can finally play the game at your monitor's native resolution (if you're using a 'weird' resolution or a common resolution the game should have but doesn't). You can also rebind the arrow keys to WASD, or even use the mouse to shoot. Please be sure to read the readme on the GitHub page, as it lists some instructions for use and limitations on changing key mappings.Additional note for screen resolutions: to use the resolution that you've set, take note of the index on the row of the resolution that you changed, and use this same index for the 'Resolution' item in the game's dataconfig.json file. The resolutions displayed in the options menu won't be changed, because that's hard-coded in an asset file and it's a hassle to unpack, modify, and repack the archive it's contained in.Additional note for key mappings: the OEM keys correspond to the hat switch, and can be enabled/disabled from the controls menu.

Also, make sure you have no duplicate bindings, otherwise things could get confusing. We need a separate software to fix stuff? I bought the game a couple of hours ago and it's damn full of frustration. It says reconfigure your controls but you can't change select and cancel.
Then why put it there wtf? So I tried changing the others and it doesnt work on all keys there are only few letters you can use as hotkeys. So much for changing your controls. Now I get to reconfigure my settings I get to choose some stuff now that I'm done it only said 2 Button on my settings for the option 'Back/Cancel/whatever' I don't know which key it was so I tried pressing esc to go out of the settings menu and the entire fkin game closed on me. (+1 for the option to quick-close)Now I'm not sure if I want to open it ever again. Originally posted by:Great. We need a separate software to fix stuff? You can change Select and Cancel. The game by default just limits your choices to the keys ZXCVASDFQWER.button numbers:0 = Z1 = X2 = C3 = V4 = A5 = S6 = D7 = F8 = Q9 = W10 = E11 = RThe game by default uses an arrow keys + ZXCV setup, which is practically standard in Japanese indie games. Not too sure about Fairy Bloom Freesia, because it uses Steam DRM, so only the resolutions and ZXCV. Keys can be changed. I don't have Ether Vapor on Steam, so I can't get the offsets needed. People would probably find it useful for Freesia as well. And would you like to have Ether Vapor Remaster on Steam?
